Eligibility for Application
To qualify for the scholarship award, you are expected to take admission into any undergraduate program in the University of Alberta.
After this process, you will be assessed based on your academic performances and achievements during the first year at the university. Then you shall be notified by the school about the offer of the award to you.
Other eligibility criteria include the following:
Nationality: Any international student from any country can apply.
Language Requirement: You must have proof of your proficiency in English language like TOEFL/IELTS test.
For those who are citizens of Canada or had studied in the University of Alberta, tests for proficiency in English Language may not be necessary

What You Should Know About The Scholarship
• The following admission terms are eligible: January 2023, May 2023, July 2023, and September 2023
• Must be a newly admitted student in one of the above terms in a master’s or doctoral program
• Open to domestic and international students
• Open to course-based or thesis students
• Must have an Admission GPA of 3.7 or higher
• Must be full-time registered during the tenure of the award (Note: This award is payable in September 2023 regardless of the admit term of the student)
