Academic Entry Requirements
The Academic Entry Requirements into the University of Chester is dependent on the kind of programme that the applicant has applied for. The official University of Chester acceptance rate has never gone above 35% since the past 10 years. The acceptance rate has been revolving in between 25% to 30% over the years. This is percent of the total applicants that the university considers for admission every academic year.

Additional Information For EU/International Students
- All UG programme fees for 2023 are set at £13,450 per year. This fee is frozen for the duration of the degree programme.
- All UG and PGT students are eligible for an International Scholarship Award, which is applicable to each year of study.
- For Jan/Feb/May 2023 only – UG and PGT students who pay all fees for the year either on or before enrolment will be entitled to a further reduction of £250. This Full Fee Payment Award is applicable for each year of the study.
Please note that you will only be eligible for the Full Fee Payment Award if you or a member of your family, or other private sponsor will be paying your fees. No bursary can be awarded if you are funded by your employer or by the government body.
Please note that in order to be eligible for the full £250 award, you need to come on a course of a minimum 12 months. MBA Credit Exemption, PG Cert or PG Dip students will be entitled to a proportion of the award, depending on the number of modules taken.
- The fee rate for research degrees is determined by the nature of the research project. For example, the classroom rate would be applicable to most literature-based projects in the arts, humanities, mathematics and social sciences; the laboratory rate would be applicable to most practical-based projects in the arts, sciences, and social sciences.

How to Pay University of Chester School Fees
The University of Chester Tuition Fees are paid via online transaction as the University does not accept cash payment. The payment procedure is not a complex one only if you would follow the instructions that I am going to reveal to in this article.
All Self-Funded, Full-Time International candidates are mandated to pay Tuition Fee Deposit to secure their offer of admission and as well to convince the UK Visa and Immigration that they are genuine students of University of Chester, England.
Candidates who are under sponsorship of any body must provide the official financial sponsorship letter.

The Full Fee Payment Option
Students who paid their complete school fees before the date of the start of their course shall be give a Full Fee Payment Award as well as any other scholarship awards stated on their letter of offer. The Full Fee Payment Award shall be received in the form of £250 discount from the amount of school fee paid.
The Two Installments Payment Option
In this payment option, the student is expected to make 50% payment of the remaining balance after he must have paid the initial Tuition Fee Deposit. The remaining balance of your tuition fees will be due in January for September/October starters, April for January/February starters, and August for May starters (exact deadlines can be found in the financial information and regulations included with your offer letter).
