The management of the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) invites all the suitably qualified candidates who participated in their Post-UTME Screening Exercise but have not been given admission yet for the application of the supplementary admission for the 2023/2024 academic session.
This information is very important for those candidates who have scored up to 40 pass mark in the just concluded FUTO Post-UTME Screening Exercise.
However, candidates who participated in the 2023 UTME/JAMB examination and did not make the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) any of their choices are also eligible for the application if you have up to 150 as you JAMB Score.
You should be aware that applications for those that made Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) their first choice is free while those that did not are expected to application fee of Eleven Thousand Naira (N11,000.00) only.

How to Apply for FUTO Supplementary Admission for 2023/2024 Academic Session
- Visit the University official website www.futo.edu.ng.
- Click on “Prospective Students”
- Click on Undergraduate
- Then click on 2023/2024 Supplementary Application.
- Click on “Apply Here”
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
- Print your invoice and proceed to any bank to pay a non- refundable fee of N11,000.00 using your Remittal Retrieval Reference (RRR) code on the invoice.
- Alternatively, you can make payment using your ATM card.
- After successful payment in the bank, return to the portal.
- Repeat Steps (i) – (iv)
- Complete and submit online Supplementary Application Form.
- Print out your “Acknowledgement Slip”

The last date for the application of the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) Supplementary Admission is on the Tuesday, 8th February 2024.

Important Notes to All Applicants
- MERIT cut off is the general cut off for all candidates irrespective of their state of origin while the CATCHMENT cut off is ONLY for candidates from the five catchment states of FUTO (ABIA, ANAMBRA, EBONYI, ENUGU & IMO);
- Candidates who made the Federal University of Technology (FUTO) their first choice are not expected to pay the application fee of N11,000.00 ;
- Candidates must have uploaded their correct O’Level results on JAMB portal.
- Candidates should be properly guided by the provisions in the JAMB brochure with particular reference to the UTME combinations and SSCE requirements.
- For LTT, candidates must have (5) O’ Level credits or its equivalent to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and either Economics or Geography.
- For PMT, SCM & TEI, candidates must have five (5) O’ Level credits or its equivalent to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one of: Economics, Biology/Agricultural Science/ Geography
- No late application will be accepted.
